Water Damage Restoration

Problem: There was peeling, bubbling, and flaking paint along with small hairline cracks or a larger, spiderwebbed pattern of cracks in the area. Water rings were present with mold growth, especially in corners where walls and ceilings meet.

Solution: We proposed to repair the water intrusion on the concrete floor slab surface as follows:

  • On the floor area in front of the lower-level closet, we ground the surface using the diamond blade grinder to remove efflorescence, old tar, and mold to expose the bare concrete.
  • We then applied 2 layers of waterproofing cement to the entire prepared surface area. Repositioning of the carpet is not included in this estimate.
