Project Execution

Steps Taken:

1. Chasing the Crack:
   • The entire crack area was chased using diamond blades to remove loose materials and expose the bare concrete.
2. Cutting Deep Slots:
   • Deep slots were cut perpendicular to the structural crack every 12 inches to provide stabilization points.
3. Epoxy Filling and Carbon Stitching:
   • Slots were filled with structural epoxy.
   • Non-corrosive carbon stitches (each capable of pulling 6,500 pounds) were embedded in the epoxy to reinforce structural integrity.
4. Mortar and Fiber Mesh Application:
   • A coat of high-strength mortar was applied to fill the crack cavity.
   • 4.5 oz reinforced fiber mesh was installed on the damp mortar for added strength.
5. Waterproofing Cement:
