Over time, exposure to moisture and seasonal wear had left the surfaces cracked and vulnerable to further damage. She wanted a long-lasting, professional restoration.
Initial Evaluation
On April 7, 2025, our team visited the property and identified two key concerns:
- The side garage pavement (6′-6″ x 18′) was weathered and in need of resurfacing.
- The mortar joints in the cobblestone border—especially at the driveway entrance and top edges—showed signs of erosion, requiring repointing to prevent displacement and water intrusion.
Scope of Work
1. Pavement Resurfacing with Concrete Sealer
We prepared and resurfaced the damaged pavement next to the garage using durable concrete materials. After allowing the surface to dry overnight, our team returned to apply a high-grade, clear concrete sealer to extend the pavement’s lifespan and improve water resistance.
2. Cobblestone Mortar Joint Repointing
- Repointed mortar joints in a 3’ x 20’ cobblestone border at the driveway entrance.
- Repaired joints across 15 individual cobblestones lining the top of the driveway.
This repointing not only stabilized the cobblestones but also enhanced the aesthetic appearance of the entryway.
