• We demolished the existing concrete at the bottom landing of the basement exterior stairs to prepare the area for excavation and drainage work.
  
• Our team excavated the area thoroughly, removing all soil and debris to expose the base and create adequate space for the new drainage system.
  
• We installed a sump pump basin at the lowest point of the landing to collect and manage water accumulation efficiently.
  
• A sump pump with an ejector line was installed inside the basin to automatically remove water as it accumulates.
  
• Next, we excavated a shallow trench, approximately 45 linear feet in length, extending northward toward the property fence. This trench stopped about 5 feet before reaching the fence line to allow for a discharge zone.
  
• At the end of this trench, we installed a catch basin with a pop-up emitter to serve as the discharge point for the redirected water.
  
• We ran an injector line through the trench to channel water from the sump pump to the catch basin, ensuring consistent drainage during storms or high groundwater conditions.
  
• To finalize the project, we poured high-strength cement over the bottom landing. The new surface was carefully sloped toward the sump pump basin to ensure proper water flow and prevent pooling.
