At Zavza Seal, we take pride in delivering quality construction and waterproofing services across New York. Every project we accept represents a commitment built on professionalism, honesty, and hard work.

In 2024, we were contracted for primary construction duties at the Aspen Dental clinic in Holbrook, NY. Our team completed the work on time and according to all agreed specifications. However, despite fulfilling every contractual obligation, we have not received the full payment owed for our work, even nearly a year later.

Project Overview

Client: Aspen Dental

Zavza Seal was responsible for major construction elements of the clinic, including structural framing, concrete work, and drywall installation. The project was completed ahead of schedule, and all deliverables were approved on site.

Photos, videos, and full documentation of the finished project are available upon request.

Payment Dispute and Company Impact

According to our records, only a small portion of the agreed payment was received. Aspen Dental later claimed the remaining payment had been sent, but no proof of payment was ever provided.

Several other contractors and even Aspen Dental customers have shared similar complaints online regarding delayed payments and communication issues.

As months passed without resolution, our small business faced significant financial strain. The unpaid balance, totaling over $120,000, forced us to make operational cutbacks and limit future expansion opportunities.

For a growing company like Zavza Seal, such losses are not just numbers on paper. They affect our employees, their families, and our ability to continue serving our community.

Why This Matters

Unpaid work is not just a business inconvenience. It is an industry problem. Large corporations or franchise chains often rely on smaller contractors to get projects done quickly and affordably. But when they delay or avoid payment, the consequences fall hardest on those who can least absorb them.

These practices damage trust across the construction ecosystem. Small and mid-sized companies are forced to bear losses, reduce staff, or abandon growth plans because a bigger client failed to honor its side of the agreement.

No company, regardless of size, should have the power to leave smaller businesses unpaid after receiving completed work.

A Call for Fairness in the Construction Industry

Zavza Seal LLC stands for fairness, transparency, and accountability. We believe that every contractor, whether large or small, deserves timely and full payment for completed work.

We are a trusted and established construction company with a long record of successful projects across New York. You can review our completed work in detail through our Case Studies.

We encourage all fellow contractors, builders, and service providers to exercise caution when entering agreements with large, multi-location corporations. Always ensure payment structures are clear, documentation is complete, and any changes to scope are properly approved in writing.

Our Commitment Moving Forward

Despite this experience, Zavza Seal remains committed to integrity and excellence. We continue to serve New York’s residential and commercial clients with the same dedication that built our reputation.

We share this story not out of resentment, but out of responsibility. It is important to protect others in our industry from similar experiences and promote a culture where fairness is the standard, not the exception.

The construction industry thrives on trust and cooperation. When one side fails to meet its financial obligations, everyone suffers. Zavza Seal calls on larger organizations to respect the hard work of smaller contractors and pay them fairly, because doing what is right is not just good business, it is the foundation of a healthy industry.
