Problem:

Work Area A: Exterior Walls (Approx. 410 sq. ft)
To significantly improve the home’s energy efficiency and sound insulation, our team executed the following steps:
- Carefully removed sections of the vinyl siding to access the underlying plywood substrate.
- Cut access ports as needed to allow our specialized equipment to blow in dense-packed cellulose insulation into the wall cavities, achieving an R-value of 21.
- Repaired and sealed all access ports upon completion of the insulation process to maintain the integrity of the building envelope.
Note: The cellulose insulation used in this project is environmentally friendly, meets Class 1 fire rating, and is water and moisture resistant. It also offers substantial sound absorbency and contributes to a healthier indoor environment. The product is Gold Certified and enhances both energy savings and indoor air quality.
Work Area B: Window Replacement
In addition to insulation upgrades, we replaced old and inefficient windows with energy-efficient units:
- Replaced two windows with rough openings measuring 54 inches tall by 27 inches wide.
- Replaced one window with an opening of 47 inches tall by 27 inches wide.
These new windows improve thermal performance, reduce drafts, and contribute to a quieter, more comfortable living space.
