We installed the new steel column, which came factory primed with rust-inhibitive paint to ensure longevity and resistance to corrosion. Both the top and base plates of the column were secured firmly to the newly installed concrete footing below and the wooden beam above.
- Enhanced Load Distribution
To spread the spot pressure exerted by the Lally column above, we installed a 10-inch by 25-inch heavy-duty steel plate at the top of the structure. The plate was attached securely to the wooden beam using high-strength structural epoxy. - Final Welding and Reinforcement
Our skilled welders stick-welded the new steel post to the heavy-duty steel plate to complete the installation, ensuring maximum stability and structural soundness.
